Planning Update
Published in the February 25, 2024 Bulletin
As we work together to establish a plan to address our current and future parish needs for our facility, we wanted to share a quick update.
● Last summer we contracted ATS&R to develop a Facilities Master Plan for our campus. As part of their work, several input sessions were held.
● We shared our new Facilities Master Plan with you at the Fall Festival and the following weekend of liturgies and we gathered feedback at those displays and via an online survey.
● We have created a team to assess project funding viability. They are anticipating providing Fr. Joe with a report later this spring.
● A cross-section of active and supporting parishioners will be meeting with Fr. Joe in order to gauge member’s readiness and potential to financially support a project.
The process we started last year continues to progress:
1) Clarify Parish’s Vision for the Future.
2) Develop a Long-Range Facility Plan that aligns with the Parish Vision.
3) Explore the Parish’s Readiness, Potential, & Priorities around Its Next Fundraising Campaign.
4) Decide on the Parish’s Next Fundraising Campaign.
5) Request Final Approval from the Archdiocese for a Campaign.
6) Begin a Fundraising Campaign.
7) Determine Project Size based on Early Fundraising Results.
8) Request Final Approval from the Archdiocese for the Project.
9) Complete Fundraising. Complete Finance Plan. Break Ground.
We are on step 3. We continue to step through this process. As those who have been a part of past conversations around projects and campaigns know, plans can change or life happens.
Please continue to pray for God to guide this work and that we are doing His will. God willing, we are currently anticipating approaching the Archdiocese early this summer or even later this spring for approval of entering into a Fundraising Campaign. If approved we could move into a Capital Campaign this fall or even later this summer.
Look for another update come April.
